One Big Outdoor Caffe
Project description
This study is a part of an ongoing project that explores future spacial relations. We imagine what can happen when big and fast changes, without control, take over the city, by documenting and visualizing possible outcomes. In some way we can call that a futuristic local reality.Outdoor space of coffee shops, bars, restaurants are occupying open spaces, parks, walkways - public space, very rapidly. A series of collages represent a predicted simulation of that growth in it's final form. All the space is taken away by outdoor "gardens" and, as time passed by, they merged into one massive garden. There is no safe part of the park. The space is consumed by consumers, surrounded by historic scenery and old buildings. It feels like sitting next to the ancient monuments while modern streams of social life, in reality and virtually, are happening.
