Eternity was born in the village

Project description

"Eternity was born in the village", I agree, adding a completion: "and I commit to defend it". There is the memory of a Paradise. I do not intend to destroy it with rules, instead I will try to adjust and organize it in the spirit of peacefulness that lies within the village. Genius loci (spirit of the place) is transposing itself upon the people that dwell in a specific area, there are places that damage us or, on the contrary, they can heal us due to the atmosphere and ambiance. Heidegger explained that the space without any regard of the place is, in fact, hollow through its indifference, two mathematical points mean nothing if they're not connected with subjective, personal elements. No matter how scattered a village might seem, it has a direction, a certain structure that needs to be respected to not disturb the course of the way things are. Thereby the base concept of my proposal is the respect for the past, but not to the detriment of the future. In terms of effects, user comfort will increase significantly due to the improved road network, full service with technical and municipal facilities, new administrative institutions and new services / trade that are proposed. At the level of the local and individual economy, tourism will have a positive impact, the market and the winery that offer sales to the local production but also the festival will create a flow of visitors beneficial for the development of the village. Author's presentation text

In order to get to know us better, I will start, I am Andreea Secareanu, a graduate of the Faculty of Urbanism within the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism, currently a master student at the same university. The art high school I attended drew my attention to the aesthetic part, and, in terms of this aspect, everything I do is “absorbed” by the artistic side. My interest in people, in their needs and desires in relation to the environment in which they live, made me follow this path. I believe that the field I have chosen is one that requires continuous learning about people in relation to the environment in which they are and, last but not least, with the one from which they come.
