Life in a box
Project description
The interior space is set free and still fully equipped with everything you need for a contemporary urban dwelling The cube gathers and offers all the necessities for an adaptable home / working space. On the outside, each side of the cube becomes a form of self-expression for a variety of functions like bedroom, dining area (office space) or living-room. On the inside, there is a hidden room, enclosed, that serves as a dressing room (storage). Underneath it the bed stays put waiting to be rolled all the way out once the sun sets. It can also be used as a couch during daytime. Just like a mechanism, the mobile cube visually separates different areas in a room while keeping the space fluid and endlessly transformative. In this manner, the act of dwelling is enriched - a dynamic spatial layout generated by a basic furniture-volume. The space changes, it dialets and contracts based on the needs of its host. The proposal is essentially a mobile dwelling apparatus that you can wrap-up and carry with you wherever you feel Home.

NA is a young studio based in Bucharest. Just like others, we like to observe the world together and transpire what we might notice into artistic & architectural projects. We like to believe there is a telluric imaginary space present in our creative process that helps us evolve our thinking.
