András Weiszkopf is an architect. He got his degree in 2011 at the Faculty of Architecture of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Between 2013 and 2016, he was a doctoral student of the Doctoral School of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. András is working on his doctoral thesis on the topic of determination in architecture by the regulations and usage. Since 2016 he is an assistant lecturer at the BME Department of Residential Building Design. A recurrent issue of his courses is the digital architectural content creation, works of his students can be found on the @studioweiszkopf Instagram profile. András has been working on an ongoing photography project since August 2016. He is investigating and presenting the Hungarian built environment on the @weisz Instagram account, focusing on its diversity, formal features, mundane banalities. The images are taken and edited with an iPhone.
